Maybe about a month ago, my boyfriend and I were watching Talladega Nights starring Will Ferrell and laying sideways on the sofa. Ricky Bobby (Ferrell’s character) was in a driving exam with this sort of timid, DMV officer when I realized I knew the actor playing him. If you can imagine it, I quickly sat up from my sideways position and said, “Oh, my God.” I played the scene over just to make sure it was him. And it was. Conrad Ricamora … a guy I dated back in college. I quickly ran to the computer to pull up IMDB and there he was. Dumbfounded I sat there for a second scrutinizing him.
Well good for him, I thought. I never would have guessed it. Conrad was supposed to be a professional tennis player, but life certainly has a way of switching things up on you.
